Some Memories
Never Leave You.
For me, one of them is my dad's old 1953 Chevy. Maroon paint. A bearskin-covered bench seat. Nothing fancy by today's standards, but that car had personality.
Like a lot of us, I grew up when cars were more than transportation. You knew what was coming down the street before you could even see it. Engines sounded different. Cars looked different.
And half the fun was standing around talking about what somebody had under the hood.
Coastal Hot Rod grew out of wanting to bring a little of that back.
